Tamar Blue is the founder and CEO of MentalHappy, a social network helping people around the world to overcome challenging life events and improve their daily lives through peer support. She and her company are alums of Y Combinator, one of the world’s most respected startup accelerators. Based on personal experiences and her more than seven years of experience in People Operations, Tamar understands the challenges people face in finding the emotional support they need to lead more fulfilling, happier, healthier lives. Tamar launched her first peer-support organization for her fellow high school classmates, an effort that earned her recognition from The White House. Her work with MentalHappy has appeared in major publications such as Nasdaq, TechCrunch, Silicon Valley Business Journal, and the CIPA award-winning book “Impact Founder. She earned her MBA after graduating from Florida State University with a dual degree in Sociology and Economics.
