It’s that time of year when people make ridiculous promises to themselves that they probably won’t keep. I’m not a resolution person – I believe in getting a running start on the New Year some time in September or October and then thinking about daily habits in January. Because really, the thing that creates the biggest change is not some quantum shift or the clock striking midnight of a New Year – it’s the daily choices we make that add up to big transformations over time.
In this episode, I share a tool I’ve used and loved for a long time – the Wheel of Life. I talk about how to use it and share books that will help you be even more amazing in 2016 in whatever areas you choose to focus your attention.
Also, this week, #LisaLikes Drynuary (which I didn’t even know was a thing until this week) – abstaining from alcohol the entire month of January. I’ve been dry since about mid-December (yes, really) and it’s been lovely. I’m not a person who thinks being dry is way way better than not, but I do think it’s a good idea to periodically abstain for mental and physical reasons. Read more about Drynuary here.
